1. Who We Are
Migo ("we," "our," "us") is a mobile app for Social Media AU writers, developed by Danica Nacionales, an individual publisher. This policy explains how we handle your personal data when you use the Migo app.
2. What Data We Collect
a) Account Data
When you create an account, we collect your email address and optional display name via Supabase Auth. This is required to identify your account and keep it secure.
b) Content You Create
How your creative content is stored depends on your plan:
- Free users: All projects, characters, panels, and messages are stored locally on your device only. We do not upload or store your creative content on our servers.
- Creator users: Your project data — including project names, panel content, character details, and uploaded images — is stored on cloud infrastructure to enable sync across devices. This data is stored securely using Supabase (database) and Cloudflare R2 (image storage). Only you can access your data; it is protected by row-level security (RLS) enforced at the database level.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure
- To restore your account if you reinstall the App
- To sync your projects across devices (Creator users only)
- To respond to support requests and account deletion requests
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with the following service providers that help us operate the App:
- Supabase — authentication, account management, and cloud project storage (Creator users)
- Cloudflare R2 — cloud image storage (Creator users)
5. International Data Transfers
Supabase and Cloudflare may store and process your data on servers located outside Singapore, including in the United States. By using the App, you consent to this transfer. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is handled securely in accordance with this policy.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Your account data is retained until you delete your account. When you delete your account, all associated cloud data — including projects, panels, characters, and uploaded images — is permanently deleted from our servers via cascading deletion. This process is irreversible.
Free users' project data is stored on your device only and is removed when you uninstall the App.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk.
8. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@danicanacionales.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
9. Children's Privacy
Migo is rated 4+ on the App Store and is appropriate for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us data without consent, please contact us at hello@danicanacionales.com and we will delete it promptly.
10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Singapore, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
